Rogue River Fishing Report Late June and Early July 2026
It's been a very slow period on the Rogue. Water is warm and the water is low. But we've been out a couple of times recently. Caught some smallmouth immediately below the dam in downtown Rockford. Caught on a dark red wooly bugger.
While anglers have been catching some large browns overnight in rivers in the northern half of the river, we've not been out on an overnight fishing trip yet.
We did manage to get out west recently to the Rocky Mountains for some trout fishing though. That was a blast.
